"Music is a divine art, to be used not only for pleasure but as a path to Awakening"
Paramhansa Yogananda

Experience the Healing Energy of Music

New Album Released!
Music to Open the Heart and Uplift the Soul
These songs, inspired by Paramhansa Yogananda and written by his direct disciple Swami Kriyananda, carry timeless spiritual teachings of joy and inspiration. In many cases the songs on this album are sung in a lower key, which makes it easier to sing along.
Spreading Musical Inspiration Around the World
It has often been said that music is the universal language. Even for those who do not understand the native language in which a song is written, the music can still be felt in your heart and spirit. From America, to Italy, and all the way to India, music is the invisible heart thread that connects us all. Here are some of my travels sharing the Joy of music.

Asha Nayaswami (Testimonial)
Dhuti and I have given programs together in many parts of the world. I speak; she makes music. Her remarkable, versatile musical ability is profoundly enhanced by her loving, open-hearted, acceptance of everyone she meets. She has a pitch-perfect, gorgeous voice, plays the guitar as if were just an extension of her own body, has a vast and varied repertoire, and rightly feels that every circumstance in life is made better by music. Walking down the street, sitting in a restaurant, on a bus ride with perfect strangers, standing on a lavish stage before thousands. For Dhuti, the music is the point and her skill and enthusiasm make her an asset in every situation. As soon as she begins to sing, all barriers between people dissolve in the innocence of her spirit and the beauty of the melodies she conveys. A rare talent indeed.

About Dhuti
From an early age Dhuti has been inspired by the power of music to energize, uplift and expand our awareness and consciousness. She had a very musical upbringing being exposed to western classical music, American gospel and folk, and the great musicians of the 50,s 60’s and 70’s. Her training began with piano and guitar lessons starting at a young age, four years of classical voice training, singing in children’s, church and school choirs, ensembles, madrigal groups, barber shop quartets, rock & roll bands, and folk groups, as well as leading singing activities at a summer camp. After moving to the spiritual community of Ananda in the late 70’s, learning, performing, teaching, directing and sharing the music of Ananda has been her primary focus. She has sung in many small groups and choirs, given countless workshops on music and consciousness, and directed the choirs in many different Ananda communities and centers.
In more recent years she has accompanied Ananda teachers on tour in India, Israel, Romania, New Zealand, Australia, Czech Republic, Serbia, Spain, Italy and different cities in the US.During Covid she began offering online Sing Alongs three times a week, as well as lessons and classes, which continue to this day. Her great joy is for others to experience the power of spiritual music to awaken, inspire and shift consciousness.

Dhuti’s music encourages you in the truest sense. Straight from the heart it helps awaken your own natural love for the divine. Singing with her helps open the door of your heart. - NR, California
Thank you dear Dhuti, your music is meditation. We all are grateful to have you among us. Your mission of spreading Swamiji and Master's light through music is remarkable. Your regularly showing up to sing over two years is a "Tapasyā (तपस्या, “penance”) " in itself. Your music kept us safe and anchored in the toughest of storms. The voice training we get is helping us in doing our kriyas better. Your music makes the presence of Swamiji so palpable amongst us. It is like he is sitting and singing with us. Laughing and enjoying every moment. You are a great patient teacher too. - SG, Kolkata India
Nothing like Ananda music. Swami Kriyananda “received" these beautiful melodies from the pure motive to uplift & inspire others. And Dhuti’s pure voice is one of the best ways to enjoy these songs. Perhaps you’ll want to sing it too—one of her main motives for sharing this music with you! - DB, California

I heard Swami Kriyananda say once that when we think of Angels we never imagine technically sophisticated beings. We get the image of pure, kind beings with harps and singing. In our singalong we have Guitar, uplifting songs and quite a few angels! I feel Swami is pleased. - TR, Chennai
Listening to Swami's music and singing along is Joyful! We are free to ask for our favourite songs and sing them heartfully. Thanks a lot Dhuti ji for this. - Sharmila, India
Best testimonial for new parents: Because of Dhuti I could put my baby(babies) to sleep! - SC, Canada
Dhuti shares music that is uplifting, inspiring and beautiful. I love that I can sing along and be energized... as this usually occurs in the morning for me, it is the perfect way to start my day! - SG, California
Dhuti has not only helped me learn the guitar but dive deeper into Swami Kriyananda's music which has the power to uplift our consciousness. I'm ever grateful to her for her guidance and her love for sharing the lessons learned over decades of playing music! - Shivendra, India
Dhuti has helped our choir members learn many of Swamiji’s songs, in parts(!), and aided them in attuning with our Gurus and Swamiji through his music. We put on a concert with many, many songs after just 1-2 months of training. All this with Dhuti’s patience, laughter and love. Thank you Dhuti! - DT, India
